Nutrition & Digestive Health

Kinesiology Food Testing can:

Optimise your diet and nutrition

Identify supplements and herbs that would be beneficial

Relieve digestive symptoms or other food related symptoms

There is no such thing as a universal diet which suits everyone. We are all different. This difference is called bio-chemic diversity.

To ensure the body can fulfil all the demands placed on it, it needs the highest form of physical energy, ie quality nutrition and hydration.

If you have an allergy to a particular food or substance you probably already know about it, the symptoms are pretty immediate and can be life threatening. However foods and substances can impact your body’s ability to function well in much less obvious and extreme ways, eg symptoms that can be caused by food sensitivities include headaches and migraines, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, indigestion and bloating, sinusitis and catarrh, muscle and joint pain, constipation and diarrhoea, hyperactivity, weight problems and more.

From the point of view of Kinesiology testing there are three groups of food: those that have a positive effect, increase energy and support your body’s functions, those that decrease energy and create strain on your body’s functions especially digestion, and those that are neutral and have no particular impact.

By identifying the foods that contribute positively to your health and support all it’s functions, and those that burden your body and can contribute to a host of symptoms, is one of the most fundamental needs of the body. From this place of balance the body can fully support all of itself, the mind and spirit.

Optimising your diet approximately 90 minutes £60 subsequent appointments £50 or £140 for 3 sessions payable in advance

Whether you would like to optimise your diet or find relief from digestive issues or symptoms, the simplicity of Kinesiology’s muscle testing against common foods enables you to identify those that benefit you and those that deplete you and give rise to a host of symptoms. What is said to be a ‘good food’ may not be good for you right now. Food sensitivity testing takes the guesswork out of balancing your diet.

Many of us take costly supplements with the expectation that they will be ‘good’ for us and enhance our health. Despite the proposed benefits there is no ‘rule to fit all’ and any supplements that we may benefit from taking is unique to each of us. Kinesiology’s muscle testing can be used to check the benefit of any supplements that you are taking or identify supplements or herbs that would be beneficial for you at this time.

Optimising your diet can be enough to relieve many of the symptoms of IBS and other diet related issues. In my experience the minimum of 3 sessions, a combination of the above and a general health balance, is the most effective way of bringing and maintaining balance to a more established health issue.

*Allergy v Sensitivities*

An Allergy involves an immune response dysfunction giving rise to an adverse reaction to a food or other substance and can, in extreme cases, be life threatening. Usually there is an immediate reaction making it easier to diagnose. It is the body stating that it doesn’t recognise the food or substance.

A Non-Allergic Reaction is an adverse reaction to foods or other substances that doesn’t seem to affect the immune system.

A Sensitivity or Intolerance is a chronic response to food or other substance and is the body’s reaction to something it cannot process such as gluten present in wheat or other grains.

Drumming for Healing

One of the oldest and most sacred sounds

The vibrations of the drumbeat encourage the mental, emotional and spiritual energy bodies to realign and the chakras and meridians to balance to bring about emotional and mental harmony. Drumming removes blockages and dissipates stagnant energy in body and space.

When combining Reiki with the beat of the drum, the divine wisdom inherent in the Reiki energy merges with the sound waves and creates a beautiful safe and sacred environment for healing to occur. Reiki Drum combines the benefits of both forms of healing.

The science behind drumming

There have been many scientific research studies conducted to discover the effect sound and drumming has on the human body and psyche. Research has shown that drumming even for a short period of time can induce an alpha state – the brainwaves associated with wellbeing and euphoria.

Research demonstrates that drumming accesses the whole brain, synchronising the two cerebral hemispheres, engaging both logical left brain and intuitive right brain. It has been shown to generate dynamic neuronal connections in the brain, even when there has been significant damage such as after a stroke.

On a physical level drumming in studies has shown to alter endocrine and immunological response in a person. Scientific research demonstrates cortisol levels, blood pressure, heart rate and blood flow are all positively affected, natural killer cells are more active and drumming aids the production of endorphins and endogenous opiates assisting in pain control.

The Munay Ki Rites

Transforms and upgrades your luminous energy field

The Munay Ki are energetic transmissions that heal the wounds of the past – your karmic and genetic inheritance. They re-inform your DNA, enabling you to grow a new body – one that ages, heals and dies differently. The Munay-Ki is your invitation to dream an entire new world into being.

The Munay-Ki helps us to become instruments of peace and agents for change and transformation. As you are initiated into the Nine Rites you join a group of ordinary men and women who lead extraordinary lives – the Earthkeepers or medicine people of the Americas. As you experience the Munay-Ki, you’ll feel the presence and sense of wisdom of these luminous ones who have broken out of linear time and now dwell in infinity.

The Munay Ki can be transmitted individually or together over half or full days and on occasion I hold a 2 day workshop or weekly group.

Once you have received the Munay Ki transmissions you can then gift them to others.

The Munay Ki prophecies

The Q’ero are the last of the Incas – a tribe of 600 who sought refuge at altitudes above 14,000 feet in order to escape the conquering conquistadors. These were the Laika… the long haired ones… the medicine men and women. For 500 years these elders have preserved a sacred prophecy of a great change, or pachakutti, in which the world would be turned right side up, harmony and order would be restored, and chaos and disorder ended.

The Prophecies of the ancient Americas are optimistic, they speak about this time as a period of great transformation, a time to make an extraordinary difference in the world, they foretell of a new human appearing on the planet – a person of wisdom and power who lives free of fear and abides in their eternal nature, accepting stewardship for all creation.

It’s not the return of a single individual who embodies what we’re becoming, but a process of emergence available to ALL peoples. The Q’ero have served as the caretakers of the rites and prophecies of their Inca ancestors, these prophecies are of no use unless one has the keys: the RITES OF PASSAGE, the Munay Ki. This is a body of knowledge, the rites and processes handed down by the Laika… the medicine men and women that have held these teachings sacred high in the Andes since the time of the conquistadors. These are the codes of the new human that is emerging now on this planet.

The 9 Rites

Healers Rite – Connects you to a lineage of luminous beings from the past who come to assist you in your personal transformation. Awakens the healing power in your hands so that everyone you touch is blessed. The Laika know that we have tremendous spiritual assistance available, and these luminous ones work on us during meditation and in our sleep to heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors.

Bands of Power – Five luminous belts that are woven into the luminous energy field (LEF) for protection. The five energetic bands represent earth, air, fire, water and pure light. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energy that comes towards you into one of the five elements. These energies then feed your LEF instead of making you sick. The bands of power are always ‘on’, and negative energy bounces right off them, in a world filled with fear, the bands provide essential protection.

The Harmony Rite – Seven archetypes are reawakened in the chakras. They are the universal organising principles, creating balance and helping to combust the psychic sludge that builds up in your chakras, so that your chakras can shine with their original light as you acquire a rainbow body.

The Seer Rite – Extra-cerebral pathways of light are installed that connect the visual cortex with the third eye and the heart chakra. This awakens the ‘inner seer’ and your ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and spirit.

The Daykeeper Rite – Calling upon the Guardians of ancient stone alters such as Machu Picchu and Stonehenge to heal the inner feminine. You connect to a lineage of master healers from the past. Daykeepers are able to call on the ancient alters to heal and bring balance to the earth, call on the sun to rise each day, and bring humans into harmony with mother earth. They are the midwives, herbalists. This rite helps you begin to heal your inner feminine, step beyond fear, and practice peace.

The Wisdomkeeper Rite – Connecting with the ancient medicine men and women to heal the inner masculine. You connect to a lineage of luminous beings from the past and the future. This rite is associated with the snow-capped mountains, perhaps a distant memory of our ancestors from the Himalayas, Mount Sinai, Mount Fuji, or Mount Olympus. This rite helps you to begin to heal your masculine, step outside of time, become steeped in the medicine teachings and taste infinity.

The Earthkeeper Rite – Connecting with a linage of ascended luminous beings to bring harmony and balance to any situation. This rite connects you to a lineage of archangels that are guardians of our galaxy. They are stewards of all life on earth. This rite connects you to the stars, and to the sun, our local star. It helps you to learn the ways of the seer and dream the world into being.

The Starkeeper Rite – This rite anchors you safely to the time after the great change, said to occur around 2012. Your physical body begins to evolve into homo luminous, the ageing process is slowed down, your DNA is re-informed and you become more resistant to disease.

The Creator Rite – Flying wingtip to wingtip with Great Spirit to be co-creator of your own destiny. Awakens the Creator-light within, and brings forth a sense of stewardship for all creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the universe.

House and Space Clearing

Sometimes our living spaces and work places can feel burdened by old, stale or disruptive energies. In addition, the land we live on can carry traces of trauma from past events which have occurred on the site. An energy clearing and blessing can assist in clearing energetic disturbances in your home, business or on your land to bring your space in to peace, balance and harmony.

  • Nourishment for the Spiritual Journey – Spiritual Nourishment

This is an experiential group where through sharing, meditation, visualisation, journeying and other tools and techniques we will explore our spirituality, what it is to live a spiritual life and why it’s so important today.

There are many philosophies, both ancient and modern, and numerous spiritual practices. The language, and maps, may be different, but what they all share in common is the ultimate goal, what it actually means to live a spiritual life, one that celebrates our connection to each other and to a power greater than all of us, one that is inextricably grounded in love and compassion.

The shaman calls it ‘dreaming a new world into being’ and, as we see the increasing chaos, division and violence in the world it feels ever more important to be part of a new dream, to wake up, to raise our awareness. The question is how ….

… the aim of this group is to share some of the tools and wisdom of the Shaman and other resources to create experiences that raise our awareness and vibration and lead us closer to living an empowered heart-based life.

Dates: July 2nd, July 16th and July 30th     7pm – 9pm      Venue: Stratford upon Avon – please get in touch for details

Today’s Shaman …

A medicine wheel is an ancient map that helps us to understand the cyclical nature of life and gives us the understanding and tools to navigate our way and continue to grow and evolve through our personal life’s experience.

During this one day workshop we will explore the medicine wheel of the Inca tradition, the insights and energies of each of the directions and introduce some tools of empowerment to help us shift energetically.

We will look at how we perceive our everyday experiences and explore how the Shamans way of seeing shifts our awareness and changes our perception creating the opportunity for change.

A sound bath and gong experience will begin your journey of self discovery ….

Q & A’s

How many sessions will I need?

Working with me is best viewed as a healing journey, with a path and pace that is uniquely yours. All symptoms and difficulties can be helped in some way, and while it is not unusual to resolve an issue within one or two sessions, the complexities of a long-standing difficulty can take longer to unravel. As a rule you should see change within three sessions.

We review where you are and how it’s working for you after each session, if you have achieved what you want after one or two sessions fantastic!

Many clients come back periodically after achieving their initial aims with a new goal or focus or simply to maintain optimal health.

Who can benefit?

It is not an exaggeration to state that everyone can benefit in some way.

Kinesiology is not a panacea but does offer a precise way of assessing and correcting imbalances. Some of the issues I have worked with are, trauma, digestive problems, anxiety, depression, phobias, learning difficulties, and aches and pains.

There are no age or physical limitations. If an individuals age or physical health means they cannot be muscle tested, a surrogate can be used with equal effectiveness.

Dying Consciously

Dying consciously is designed for all those involved in the dying process, the individual, family members, and friends. Its purpose is to assist the person who is making the journey beyond death to do so in a peaceful manner, full of light.

Dying Consciously provides the Great Death Rites practised by shamanic traditions, they include specific steps to bring reconciliation and healing to the person dying and to their loved ones and frees the Luminous Energy field from the body so that Spirit Flight can be achieved, returning to the Light.

All cultures have beliefs about death and the afterlife and most involve the belief that after death the Soul undertakes some kind of journey.

According to the Tibetan Buddhists, the spirit of the departed goes through a process lasting forty-nine days that is divided into three stages called “bardos.” At the conclusion of the bardo, the person either enters Nirvana or returns to earth for rebirth.

The Catholic Church accepts the idea of Purgatory, a place where the souls would go for a period of purification before being allowed into heaven.

Like many peoples, the ancient Egyptians believed that death was not the end of life, but a transition to a new one. After death, each person undertook a perilous journey to the land of the dead where they were judged and if lucky, reborn into the afterlife.

Some cultures have complex beliefs about an afterlife, sculptures may be created or objects produced intended to help bid farewell, honour the dead or to assist them on their journey to the next world.

Whatever our beliefs we would all like to pass from this life in peace, but in our western culture we seem to have lost our ability to die with grace.  We do everything in our power to prolong death and many still die in fear. We die not having resolved the issues we need to resolve or said the “I love you’s” or “I forgive you’s,” we so desperately need to say.

In shamanic traditions death is the ultimate journey back to Spirit.  It is our journey home, and we want to do it as cleanly as possible. The steps that assist this process include:

Recapitulation (life review) – we can help our loved ones start their Great Journey by giving them the opportunity to tell their story, all we need to do is be an empathetic listener and encourage them to forgive themselves as they would forgive others, compassionately and without judgement.

Cleansing the dying person’s chakras helps to set their energetic body free by removing any heavy energy accumulated throughout their life experiences.

Another important step in the Death Rites is giving a person permission to die. Many people need to know that there is no reason to worry about the ones who stay behind.

The final step in the death rites seals the chakras so that the luminous body is no longer connected to the physical form and can complete the flight home.

In addition, the Shaman can offer the family a special ceremony called an Aya Despacho for honouring and releasing their loved one, bringing peace and integration to the family at this time.

The Inka believe that when we die consciously our Spirit goes to the heavens, our Body to the earth, and our Wisdom to the mountains.
